Box Jacking

We are able to install bridges during limited possessions through our highly-acclaimed Tunnel Construction System which provides support to roads and rails during construction with little disruption to overhead traffic.

This is achieved by jacking-in a pre-formed concrete box under existing highway lanes or live railway tracks, with our grillage support system installed.

We have successfully carried out bridge projects on the UK rail network in recent years incorporating this patented system.

We have extensive experience of fulfilling the role of Principal Contractor under CDM Regulations, producing and agreeing a Target Cost submission and operating as an integrated team under Design and Build, ECC, ECI and other traditional UK forms of contract.
